To develop a digital platform that would enable corporates to assess and triage the legal and business risks posed by Brexit.


To develop a tool for Mayer Brown’s clients that would permit them to easily navigate the legal changes and operational challenges posed by Britain’s exit from the European Union, and to identify and prioritise the key risks to their specific business.


Communicate worked closely with Mayer Brown to build an accessible, intuitive interface that would enable Mayer Brown’s clients to quickly and simply establish a clear and comprehensive picture of the legal and regulatory changes that Brexit could precipitate for their business.


The Brexit Impact Assessment Tool (BRIMA) has been widely recognised as a standout achievement and a first-of-kind digital platform to quickly assess available legal advice and get a picture of the broader regulatory landscape as it relates to Brexit. The tool has received numerous accolades, including a commendation from the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers Europe 2017 in the New Products and Services category.
