THE BRIEF –
To produce a series of films providing analysis and thought leadership on the regulations around initial margins in the international derivatives marketplace.
THE AIM –
To produce a set of online videos that would generate engagement among professionals in the derivatives and related sectors and serve as a showcase for Mayer Brown’s expertise advising clients on the IM requirements.
THE PROJECT –
Communicate handled all aspects of film production and post-production, working closely with the team at Mayer Brown to translate in-depth, focused regulatory analysis into widely shareable and immediately engaging web content. The project posed a number of challenges, including finding a natural visual vocabulary for some particularly abstract subject matter.
THE RESULT –
The video series has been a resounding success, with over 20,000 views on YouTube and LinkedIn, and has served as an effective demonstration of Mayer Brown’s sector depth, an engaging and informative rundown of the topic, and an excellent showcase of Communicate’s skill in handling all aspects of video production and in finding an intuitive, immediately effective visual language for complex topics.
